Design it yourself? Buy a template?
Most web/design work I do is done in Photoshop, Illustrator or InDesign (sometimes even in Powerpoint!) However, I do buy images as needed. Buying an image from a site like iStockphoto.com (one of my current favorites, and the source of the little eyeball above) or a web template from dreamtemplate.com and incorporating it into my vision can save time and can also highlight the incredible talent of some amazing artists. Always be sure to pay for the images you use.
Design Tutorials - A great way to learn!
On Facebook I am a "friend" of Adobe Illustrator and am constantly finding links to great tutorials. There are also a lot of sites that do their own tutorials. Some of my favorites are: Vector.Tutsplusand Pegaweb. Want to learn anything? Everything? Go to places like: Youtube, and Google search and let your mind run free! It's a treasure trove for great design tutorial junkies like myself!
